[Intro] Hello Gamers! - Learning Pokémon Game Development

    Hello all! I am mike9435 and I have recently begun getting into the Game Development side of Pokémon, specifically with the older games. I enjoy mods and watching How-To videos on YouTube. I also enjoy challenges with mods like Random Warps by PointCrow and Unviversal Pokémon Game Randomizer by Dabomstew. If I have enough time I would consider joining a game development team but I would need lots of practice!

    Welcome to PC mike9435! What made you get into game development? Is there one particular thing that keeps you reeled in?

    Thanks! Ive always had a knack for coding and enjoyed things like that. Im not super interested with things like fakemon, but id rather see an original take on the old formula to keep it similar but with a fresh take.

    I really am enjoying PokeFusion rn as it still uses the old games formula but with an awesome twist! I love looking at all the different fusions that are possible. Mad respect for the sprite artist!

    Hello!! I think definitely the strategy aspect as I love forming together an awesome team! I also really love all the different pokemon and choosing my favorites to take to victory!

    I have seen some Pokéfusions, they look neat indeed!

    I can suggest to you Solar Light / Lunar Dark, Zeta / Omicron, and especially Insurgence (so many cool looking Delta pokémon!). Also, if you are into top level, hard battles and hairpulling puzzles, you might like Reborn! ^^

    Ooh thanks for the recommendations! I do enjoy a good challenge so I will definitely go check those out!!
