Hello everyone,

My name is Christian (Chun), I am 12 years old and have had the love for Pokémon ever since I could remember. I keep my playing habits a secret from kids at school to avoid embarrassment and bullying. Since it's a rare occasion I find someone at my school to play Pokémon with. So, I decided to spend my time here.

I think the PokéCommunity Forums are a terrific idea for people with similar difficulties like mine.

This way I can chat, discuss, create and have fun here with nobody in my way! :P

Why hello there. It's always nice to have long time Pokemon fans. And by the looks of it you are probably mature for your age. That's a pretty good thing.

You'll have fun here as your guilty pleasure haven, I guarantee you that. And of course a lot of us suffer the same situation as yours. Except I'm in a what you would call a "nerd-school", so the topic of Pokemon games isn't as much of a taboo.

If you need any help I'm the first you should consult~... or one of the mods.

Like yourself, I used to be afraid of what people think of myself and Pokemon in school, but because I have such a wide span of different friends(oh yeah, I have connections xD), I can use Pokemon to my advantage; for example making someone laugh because of it. I actually confess to mates that I adore Pokemon, and they are cool with it, because they respect the fact that I can say it and not be bothered about what others say. I'm fourteen by the way. xD

Anywho, I'm babbling on. Hope you have fun here at PC! :3

That's too bad that the students at your school don't accept Pokemon. I'm in college and I hardy ever run into problems like that; in fact there's a gaming group on campus that plays Pokemon regularly. For me Pokemon first came out when I was a bit older, but I've enjoyed the games ever since Red/Blue came out.

And PC is a great place to talk about Pokemon, chat, set up trades and/or battles over wi-fi, and generally have fun among fellow Pokemon fans. We even have a few sections where we discuss things other than Pokemon, in case you ever feel like posting about other topics. Welcome, and I hope to see you around!
