Hello friends, I'm Ro!

Funnily it only occurred to me now to join a forum and make fellow Pokemon friends, I'm kinda scared of talking to people sometimes, but I want to make friends with people who are as into Pokemon as I am! I mostly play the games but I do casually watch the anime too when I remember!

I've been into Pokemon since I played Red on my GameBoy pocket and I've been in love ever since. I'm currently on a (long) quest to finish each generation, as I missed out on all the DS and 3DS era games, as well as missing postgame stuff as a kid - I didn't know you catch MewTwo in Gen 1 for years!

Anyway, hello, and that's me!

I don't think I captured Mewtwo or any of the legendary birbs first time round in Blue/Red tbh, other than maybe Articuno as it's the only one in a location that I might've actually accidentally stumbled upon it xD I wasn't exactly thorough at the time =P

Which of the Switch titles have you played?

So, growing up I only had the GB Pocket & then the Advance so I have played Gens 1 & 3 the absolute most! Emerald is definitely the game I've played the most & Gen 3 will probably always be my favourite.
I've played most of Black, but the level spike to grind for the E4 made me put it down for months, and then my partner wanted to play so I deleted my save for them! I've gotten about halfway through X, but will probably start it again as it's been 3 years now! The other DS/3DS ones I've played a little of, but not much!

I'm currently replaying Sword because once again, I was oblivious to the postgame, and I wanted to try out the DLC and give shiny breeding a go!

What's your favourite generation(s)?

Omg! I think I just stumbled upon Articuno a lot, because I genuinely thought that Articuno was the only legendary and I always used my master ball on it! It wasn't until I played Let's Go with my partner about 3/4 years ago and they pointed out you can get all 3 birbs (I thought they were game exclusives!) AND MewTwo in Gen 1! My mind was blown hehe!

As for the switch, I've played Let's Go & Sword. I restarted Sword again about a month ago and have been trying my hand at shiny breeding! I have been planning to play BDSP at some point - but I'm going to have to pick up Shining Pearl sooner than I planned as I bought my niece Diamond as her first Pokemon Game, without realising that her fav Vulpix is a Pearl exclusive 😂

What are your favourite Pokémon? I'm assuming Eeveelutions?! 😄

I would say the first, due to nostalgia, to it being a surprise hit, and getting there my top favourite pokémon of all times, Charizard!

But if I were to choose optimization, I would say Black 2 / White 2.Played that one only a few years ago, and really liked it! It has, I think, the best means to train pokémon, between the League, the top level trainers to fight after it, and the Black Tower / White Tree (99 stairs, plenty of trainers of every level, leaving a stair as you see fit to heal then come back and fight again, ...), over 25 Rare Candies, a Galleria you can devote to raise your pokémon happiness for fast evolution, not to count an underwater treasure worth over 1,000,000 pokédollars - which I used to buy enough vitamins to max the stats of a team of 6!

Well they're definitely up there, but Alolan Ninetales, Aurorus, Indeedee and Delphox are up there too =3
Glaceon has been number one for me for a pretty long time now.

Oooh thats a great shortlist, I recently discovered Indeedee and am loving them! I am currently trying to complete the Let's Go dex, and am about 2/3 of the way there but I do struggle with not being able to play it docked with a proper controller! I've also gotten about 2/3 of the way through the Arceus Pokédex, but its always the last chunk thats the hardest isn't it! Have you completed many Pokédexes?

Living Dex is very impressive! I'm going to aim for one once I've finished at least one Pokédex! I always have multiple games on the go so its a slow process 😆
Arceus I've really enjoyed so far! I finished the main story mostly because I wanted to get to the final place so I could get a Mamoswine 😂 I think it's really fun and love how it feels like a different game while still being Pokémon!

I've just realised they Let's Go Pikachu is the one I've gotten furthest with the Dex on, I can probably check to see if I have any of the guys that you're missing for your Living Dex, if you fancy ☺️
