    Hey everyone! I'm Dan and I'm a 16 year old from Utah.

    I'm a long time fan of Pokemon. I played Yellow version when I was a kid, and I've played every main game in the series since. I've actually been through the PC threads for quite a while but I never really seemed to have a reason to join. (mostly because I'm lazy lol) I am very interested in the Pokemon hacking scene. I downloaded AdvancedMap like a year ago, and messed around with that a ton (and I still haven't pulled off a good looking map)

    The thing that got me interested in joining though was when I saw the hacking teams forums. I'm still not really sure how a ROM hacking team would work, but it sound pretty sweet. I am really interested in learning how to script. When I looked through all of the "jobs" that the teams had opened, I figured that the only thing that I could probably get good at would be scripting, since I'm not a very creative person when it comes to design. So I figure that I should use some of the tutorials here and teach myself to become pretty decent at scripting and then give it a go and try to help someone else make a hack.

    Outside of Pokemon, I am really into music. I play the piano and the cello, and I'm currently attempting to teach myself the guitar. I'm really interested in music theory and I find it quite fascinating. I'm a huge fan of soccer, and I love anything that has to do with it.

    So....That's pretty much me. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people here!

    Hiya Dan, welcome to PC! <3 Yeah, given hacking's popularity here I'm sure it won't be too hard to learn the ropes and get started on your first game. It's a pretty cool thing to get into though it does require quite a bit of patience.. but it all pays off in the end. I'm not a hacker myself but do very much enjoy looking through all the great games our members have made!

    I really hope you enjoy your time here and stick around.
