Hey everyone, i have a pokemon red/green/blue english save file on my retron 5, if i loaded up a japanese version of pokemon red/green/blue. would that be possible to play the games with my save files and play on retron 5? thankyou! :)

Maybe? English and Japanese cartriges use different character sets, though. If it does indeed work then chances are you end up with a lot of garbage characters for names. It's best to try it out, yourself, I suppose.
