Hey.I just made this thread to introduce myself.I am a young and persistent rom hacker.I currently have 2 projects atm one still is on the drawing board tho.They are Pokemon Raptor and Pokemon Manifest Destiny.Right now Pokemon Raptor is my main project.Its basicly a new game.With new trainers,towns,etc.Thought I'm not gonna do new pokemon.The other one Pokemon Manifest Destiny will be like a pokemon frontier sorta deal.The towns are smaller and less organized,items in the field (items in pokeballs) would be more common,and just some more other frontier-y tthings.

Welcome to PC! I see you're very interested in hacks/emulation, which is awesome! I'm sure you already know PC has its own emulation forum which is very popular! You can definitely showcase your hack there to get reviews on it and let others see what you're creating! :>

Those seem like really cool hacks you're making, btw. I hope you get through completing them and releasing them to the public. :D

Pokemon Raptor? There's actually a game out with that name already, but it isn't a ROM hack. I've played that Raptor before and it was pretty well-received among the Game Development community here. Manifest Destiny is a pretty cool title though - good luck with both of your projects and I really hope our Emulation section helps you out a lot in that regard. ^^ Looking forward to seeing more info on your games when they're out, and remember to keep working hard on them! Too many hackers seem to quit their games and it has always made me pretty sad. ):

Well thanks for your replies.So theres a game with the name Pokemon Raptor already?Guess its back to the drawing board for names :D.I do also believe I will finish these even if everything except Advanced Starter and Advanced Map don't work.On that note about to put up the first version of Pokemon Raptor,I don't think you'll have to patch knowing it is a direct copy paste of the ROM I was working off of.Oh yeah and by the way you can just call me primehack or prime whichever works.

Hello once again.I got one thing that's disappointing,I can't put up a download link for the first version of my game because its hosted via mediafire and in order to put links in my posts I have to have 15 posts and believe me I tried every stinking loop hole I could think of.Also pokemaster I could try and help you with mapping.I'm not super good but I can do some pretty good work with Advanced Map.I'll add some screenshots from the game I'm working on in this post.Also I think I'll see if I can make a blog to talk about my hacks and stuff.Better than filling up an introductory thread.
