Hi, my name is Bruce Bei Fong.
I am 18-years-old and I am half Chinese and half Turkish-Mediterranean. I currently live in the southern region of London within the UK.
I wanted to give an in-depth intro so that you guys could know a bit about me and who I am. I didn't know exactly how to go about it without veering off into a rant or perhaps coming off as a bit overly-confident, so I've decided to structure it as a random actor's Wikipedia article would be.
Early life, martial arts and stuntman-ship
I was born in Beijing, China, as the youngest out of two sisters and one brother. My father works in a university, taking on a managerial position within the uni.
I was six when I first found a love and a particular talent for Sanshou (Chinese Kickboxing.) It is a military-developed fighting style - and it is highly effective. I started learning it as a result of my mother wanting me to be able to protect myself. However, I have never had to use martial arts for protection. It is as Jet Li says, "a gun can outdo years of martial arts training in a split second." I believe Li has the right philosophy; try to resolve your problems without physical conflict and if necessary call the police. It should be seen as an art form, not a means of hurting others.
When I was 15 I enrolled in a basic stuntman course and I found I really enjoy it. I have been training as one ever since - I intend to find work in it one day.
Personal goals and beliefs
A personal goal of mine is to work as a stuntman and just enjoy my life comfortably. Acknowledge any money problems but don't panic over them. Try and resolve issues in life with a smile and a well paced step.
I follow the belief of Tibetan Buddhism - I feel I can resolve a lot of everyday problems and teach myself anything with my beliefs. It has been highly helpful in learning about Science and Physics as skepticism is highly encouraged in the belief. To question everything is to learn everything; that is a founding philosophy.
