    hi, my name is jim and i loved pokemon all my life and recently got heart gold as gold for GBC was my all time favorite so hope to find usefull help and kind people on these forums :)
     
    Hey there Jim! Hope your having fun with HG (Although I'm sure you are as those are some awesome remakes!). You're after help and nice people, eh? You've sure come to the right place. People here are nice and know a lot about Pokemon! Since you're playing HG this forum is probably where you're gonna wanna start. Just be sure to follow the rules and you should be fine. Don't be afraid to venture out though, people are nice whereever you go! (Again, just make sure you read them rules or you might find yourself getting on people's nerves, understandably too!)

    If you've got any questions or are just looking for a chat feel free to VM/PM me although a staff member might be able to help you a tad better than I when it comes to serious forum stuff :P Either way make sure ya have fun!
     
    Hello there, lunasicc! Welcome aboard. I'm sure you'd get a lot of help if you have any questions about HG/SS or any game that you are playing. Feel free to ask in the Fourth Generation Games section, you can also ask for some tips and advices, and perhaps share your daily journal as well! :) .. Aand I agree with you exactly, my Gold gaming experience was certainly the best among the rest of the games, it was the time when all of my friends are playing Pokemon too, and with that, we battle each other, trade Pokemons and we do a lot more stuff, I'm enjoying the current games but my friends aren't that interested in Pokemon anymore, so yeah. :P

    I can also guarantee you that you would enjoy it here, not just for the discussions, but you can also make friends, it isn't that hard to make a bunch of friends, if you keep on participating on discussions, I'm sure you'd be able to find someone to talk to and build a friendly relationship with them! It would also take time to get used to the whole board, but with the atmosphere here, I'm sure you'd get use with the stuff around here!

    Ahh... welcome to the forums! You know, the remakes give me the nostalgia factor when I first played them on my DS. It's been so long since I last had a working copy of Crystal (R.I.P. battery), and to be able to play the second generation games in its full glory, remastered, is a great touch, with the additions since the introduction of Gen III-era battle mechanics with Gen IV tweaks. It felt like a new game. Mmm...

    I do think that there will be a lot of opportunities for you to discuss about the games and stuff in general since there's a sizeable amount of users online in PC at any given time. Just head off to your favourite section and post in your favourite thread. (Do give the rules a read, though. XD) Or you can also go straight chatting with members via VMs, the IRC or the DCC in Other Chat. (DCC changes its title every so often, but it should be obvious and stickied.)

    Have fun around the forums anyway, and I think I'll be seeing more of you soon, huh?
