Hello. My name is Ian. i'm highly excited to finally be part of an official forum. i'm guessing all the other new comers, like my self, speak about how they love pokemon. I think i'll skip that step. and just say I'm happy to be here.

You're free to mention anything you'd like in your introduction, or not mention, as in this case. As long as it doesn't involve breaking any rules, it's all your choice. Besides, there are a good few people who come here lacking a decent interest in Pokémon - they never mention it in their introductions either. ;D
