    Hello, everyone.
    I've known about this place for a while, but I didn't join, as I don't really join large forums (or most other forums) for some reason. I've been into Pokémon since some time after Pokémon Yellow was released (which was the first game I played). I now have all of the previous gen games, but only have Diamond in the current gen. I pretty much like most of the Pokémon franchise, including the anime (for the most part, anyway) and the trading card game (which I just recently got back in to). From the looks of things, it seems this is a very friendly place. I'm hoping I can actually be active here (shouldn't be too much of a problem, since I've been on here the past few days, just didn't join).
    Oh, and before anyone mentions it, I have already read the rules (at least twice....just wanted to make sure I understood them).
     
    Hey! Cool username...it's nice that you read the rules, but you may have missed important pieces. For example, it is against the rules to win Game of the Year by stealing a popular e-artist's work...doesn't work. Stay cool, and you should survive...oh yeah, and add a Crystal avatar, and you're eligible for a place in the Crystal Animation Cult. It's a real honour.

    Thanks to everyone else, as well. I'm sure I'll enjoy it here (once I get used to it...still not sure about posting in a large forum for some reason).

    Been playing since the days of Yellow Version, huh? Well, you've been with the franchise almost as long as us veterans have. Great to hear that you're such a well-rounded Pokémon fan, my friend. Can't wait to see what you post around the various boards. Oh, and don't be intimidated by the size of the forum; it's rather manageable once you get to know where everything is.

    Nah, it's not crazy talk, I just didn't have much of a choice about joining...I wanted to join last month, but I had finals (one of the few things I definitely try to study for). After that was over, I had no Internet. After getting back to my dorm from break, I had to get used to my new schedule. Now, I'm finally used to it enough to be able to do other stuff, so I decided to finally join (I should have joined earlier, since classes have been canceled almost all week). Anyway, I'm finally getting used to the forum, so I'm sure I'll be able to keep posting. I'm actually liking it here.

    It's nice to see you decided to join! It's nice to hear you are liking this place already! Despite it's size you will find that everyone here is very friendly and helpful so there is no need to be shy (not that you are of course!)! I hope you can keep posting because the more the post I can guarantee the more you will like this place! I'm sure you will be another great member here with many great friends in no time! It's nice to see you have read the rules as alot of our no members don't and some even publicly announce that they didn't! Seriously they aren't that long!

    It's nice to see another persons who has once again been playing Pokémon as long as some of the so called Veterans of the franchise I'm sure you will fit in with them! Well anyway stay active (if you can!) and have fun!
