5th Gen Help! Breeding egg moves issue.

    Ok so, im just not getting back into pokemon and breeding has deff become quite fun. I have alpha but most of my old pokemon are on black 1 and 2. From what I understand in blk1 only the father can pass moves. Ive tried passing these as a test to see if I could.
    Carvanha female with the nature that i want (moves irrelevant) and a male quilfish that naturally knows hydro pump and destiny bond. Carvanha knows both of these as egg moves so both should pass to the baby right? Wrong, hydro pump is the only move that passes from the father.

    Im not really sure what im doing wrong but ive tried this about 7 or 8 times with the same results. Its infuriating. Someone please help!
     
    In gen V, Carvanha does not get Destiny Bond as an egg move. If that was corrected in gen VI, I suggest transferring your Pokemon up and breeding there. But if you keep trying in gen V, you'll have no luck.
     
    Awesome! I had a feeling that might be one of the issues. Ty so much.
     
    I transfered everything to X and rebread everything. It's much easier to breed Pokemon in the Gen VI games.
