Help. Cards before battling

    Hey everyone,
    I have been trying to figure out what the cards were called that you could buy before the original cards the had pokemon HP and attacks on them. The cards were thick, almost cardboard like. They had a picture of the pokemon on the front and i cant remember what was on the back. I had these cards before i ever had battling cards, and when i got the battling cards the old ones were obsolete. if anyone can give me more information on what they were called or where i can find some info about them please help me out. Thank you!

    Those are just another set of collectible cards. You can't battle with them in the TCG because they're a different kind of card. I think the were made by either Topps or Score. I think they came after the first TCG set. They were made based off of the Pokemon themselves and scenes from the first and second movies as well as some scenes from the anime. Try searching "Topps Pokemon cards".
