Script: Help editing text/dialogue in Yellow?

    I recently had the idea to edit some of the dialogue in Pokemon Yellow to expand and alter the story a bit. Unfortunately, I'm not very familiar with rom editing, let alone for the Gen 1 games, and while I've been trying to figure out PokeText, I'm not sure how to add additional text, and I don't know what all of the "&&&"s and other symbols are supposed to represent. If anyone knows how I can add new and/or longer text to the game, I'd really appreciate it!
