Just to let you know, this is my first time using a forum. Anyways I need help with my team. Here it is so far:

Poliwrath Lvl 56:Brick Break, Surf, Hypnosis, Strength
Chansey Lvl 26 (Just caught it) Refresh, Softboiled, Doubleslap, Minimize
Charizard Lvl 55: Flamethrower, Earthquake, Fly, Slash
Magneton Lvl 51: Thunderbolt, Toxic, Lock On (>.>), Supersonic
Dragonite Lvl 57: Ice beam, Dragon Claw, Hyper Beam, Slam
Pupitar Lvl 50 (Still training): Crunch, Rock Slide, Scary Face, Trash.

I need help with types, moves etc.. I'm not familiar with EV's and sweepers and all of those kinds of things. So help would be greatly appreciated. Also I know my team sucks I just got whatever would beat the Elite 4. And if you want to suggest any pokemon that can be caught in Leafgreen, I can get it.

    Thanks!

This thread probably should have been just a post in the Team Help Thread, but oh well. ^_^

Just for a better understanding; what exactly is the purpose of the team? Is it just ingame stuff, like the LG Battle Tower on seven island or ingame trainers? Or is it for fighting competitively with friends?

I'll just assume it's for ingame.

Poliwrath Lvl 56:Brick Break, Surf, Hypnosis, Strength

Hmm, I would actually go for this kind of set myself. I used/am using something similar in my Gold version, but that's different I guess. I would recommend getting rid of Strength for something else, maybe Ice Beam or Ice Punch (if you can trade it and get it to learn it in Emerald)

Chansey Lvl 26 (Just caught it) Refresh, Softboiled, Doubleslap, Minimize

Train this thing into a Blissey, and I think you'll be fine. Keep Softboiled, and add team supporting moves such as Toxic or Thunder Wave (can be taught by someone in the Rocket Hideout, if I remember correctly) and possibly Protect. You may or may not want to keep Minimize, it is your choice.

Charizard Lvl 55: Flamethrower, Earthquake, Fly, Slash
I have something like this on my FR/LG games. You may want to switch Fly for something like Aerial Ace, but it really depends if this is ingame or not.

Magneton Lvl 51: Thunderbolt, Toxic, Lock On (>.>), Supersonic

Actually, Lock On may be a decent idea, if you use it with Zap Cannon. (Learned at level 62) But if that's the case, you really wouldn't need Thunderbolt that much, unless you're just looking for a quick KO. Using a Rain Dance/Thunder combo is possible in place of the Lock On/Zap Cannon combo, but risky. The Rain only really benefits Poliwrath, and if your opponent is a water type/has a water move, your Charizard and Pupitar are in danger.
Dragonite Lvl 57: Ice beam, Dragon Claw, Hyper Beam, Slam
It seems ok, except for Hyper Beam. Hyper Beam is always a big no-no, whether it's ingame or competitive. Switch it for something like Flamethrower, so you have coverage against Dragonite's biggest threat; Ice. You may also wanna switch Ice Beam for Earthquake, since you already have Dragon Claw to take down enemy dragons.
Pupitar Lvl 50 (Still training): Crunch, Rock Slide, Scary Face, Trash.
Replace either Scary Face or thrash with Earthquake, then whichever you didn't replace should be another attack move.
Once it evolves, you could go for a classic Substitute/Focus Punch combo. Those two moves could replace both Scary Face and Thrash.

If you have any other questions, ask me.

I hope I was able to help! This is my first time doing this. ^_^

    Woah, thank you!

And to clarify, my team is going to be used ingame just for a short while (to beat the Elite four again and catch Mewtwo, things like that). Then I'm planning to transer them to Pokemon Diamond for Wifi battles. And I'll be more careful of where I post threads like these xD.

Yeah, you got your answer now. Next time you need help with a team, please make sure you just post in the Team Help Thread.

    Locked.
