[HELP] Fruits Basket-themed Team

This may seem pretty random to most of you, but I'm wanting to build a team based on the Fruits Basket anime. I was wandering if any of you could help me decide which Pokemon that can be associated with each Zodiac animal is the best, then limit that to 6 total.

Here's what I have thus far, but if there's another Pokemon based on the same animal that's stronger (excluding legendaries), please feel free to suggest it.

Rat (Yuki): Raticate
Cat (Kyo): Persian
Dog (Shigure): Houndoom
Pig (Kagura): Mamoswine
Rabbit (Momiji): Lopunny
Seahorse (Hatori): Kingdra
Bull (Hatsuharu): Tauros
Snake (Ayame): Arbok
Tiger (Kisa): Arcanine
Sheep (Hiro): Ampharos
Monkey (Ritsu): Ambipom

Please suggest natures and moves as well. If at all possible, I would like the natures to match the characters, but if it's a horrible combination, suggest something else.

I know the cat Pokemon aren't anywhere near the strongest, but I feel that one should be included reguardless. Kyo is awesome.
