HELP ME MAKE A DECK!

Hello Everyone on PokeCommunity

I have collected pokemon cards since I was very young!
and last year I went to an event called Armageddon Expo
(if you have not heard of it basically its New Zealand's/Australias Comic-con
so cosplay and stuff)

And I was around the tcg/ds area with My friend (we were opening our tins)
and probably at least 3 people came up to me and asked if I had a Deck
Which I didn't.
There is a pokemon comp there but it lasts 3.5 hours! (there is lots of other stuff to do at the expo)
Some people just play for fun

I am returning this Year in April and plan to have a prepared deck to battle for fun!

However I need your help
Does anyone have a Basic Deck Idea of which I should own a majority of the cards in it

Well pick a Pokemon you want to center the deck around first and we'll go from there! There are plenty of good decks, but the necessary cards for those decks are very expensive to purchase in such a short time.

Well I wouldn't mind a deck based around

Arcanine?
Maybe with some Zekrom/Reshiram/
Maybe something With Arcanine/Zekrom/pikachu/Raichu

I don't Know
Arcanine would be nice But what would you suggest?

I'm personal to Zekrom and Raichu, myself. I do have a deck featuring those two that I recently made.

Though one of the key elements will be this Eelektrik card here:

And of course the Tynamo you need to get that Eelektrik card out.

4 Zekrom (any set, really. the only difference between all the normal Zekrom cards at the moment is that each one has different art)
1 or 2 Zekrom EX (this might be a pricey card to get)
3 Pikachu (any tournament legal set, preferably with at least 60 HP, though)
3 Raichu (2 from HGSS or the HGSS Trainer Kit, and the Prime one from HS Undaunted would be interesting)
4 Tynamo
4 Eelektrik
2 Tornadus (you'll need something that can help you deal with ground types)

That's very similar to what I have in my deck. For trainers, I suggest checking out the thread I'm about to make to get some ideas. That thread will be titled something like ZekEels with Raichu
