Hey guys, I'm new here... *looks at herself* No avatar or anything. I'll have to fix that soon. ;) I stopped playing Pokemon for a long while, because 1. Nobody plays here and 2. I felt like I was the only person on the planet over the age of.. 13... that still played. Of course that can't possibly be true, right? :D
This is a UU team I was *planning* on building before I quit for a while. First, note 2 things:
1. I ONLY have Sapphire, and I ONLY have 1 GBA
2. I started with Swampert, so I can't use any of the other starters unless I restart- which I don't want to, since I have the PokeRus. :)
Grumpig
@ Chesto?
Nature: Bold (+Defense, -Attack)
Ability: Thick Fat
- Calm Mind
- Psychic
- Confuse Ray
- Magic Coat/Rest
One of my possible starters. Calm Mind up, perhaps use a Chesto Rest, then use Psychic as I please. If he IS my starter, I may use Magic Coat over Rest (or replace Confuse Ray with Rest) to fend off any immediate status-changers.
Magneton
@ ?
Nature: Gentle (+Special Defense, -Speed)
Ability: Magnet Pull
- Reflect
- Thunderbolt
- Toxic
- HP: Fire/Ice
My secondary possible starter. Magneton is meant to take out spiking Skarmories and poison other possible starters. However, I may stick with Grumpig as my starter because going out with Magneton first is an alarm signal to any Skarmory owners out there.
Crawdaunt
@ Shell Bell
Nature: Adamant (+Attack, -Special Attack) IF I don't use Surf.
Ability: Hyper Cutter
- Swords Dance
- Brick Break
- Ancientpower
- Surf/Sludge Bomb
I will NOT, not-not-not give up Crawdaunt. I must sound like a stubborn newbie, but Crawdaunt is a fun Physical sweeper to use and he makes me feel unique. :) I'm not sure if I should just go all out with the physical attacks or throw Sludge Bomb in there for a surprise.
Cradily
@ Leftovers
Nature: Relaxed (+Defense, -Speed)
Ability: Suction Cups
- Recover
- Barrier
- Rock Slide
- Giga Drain
Woo! My favorite tank in the game. Giga Drain, Recover, and Leftovers all add constant HP while Rock Slide is the necessary offense. Barrier, I'm not sure of. His defense is already pretty high.
Tentacruel
@ ?
Nature: Anything that raises speed..
Ability: Clear Body
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Barrier
- Sludge Bomb/Mirror Coat
Now Tentacruel, I'm not so sure of. I want a "secondary" water pokemon to function with the typical Surf/Ice Beam routine, since Crawdaunt may not. I'm willing to replace him with something like Walrein, or even Wailord for a nice challenge. ;)
My last slot, I'm not sure of. I'm lacking anything in the fire department, or Pokemon with attacks like Earthquake. Because of this, I was thinking of a Flygon with Earthquake for STAB and Fire Blast (his Sp. Att really isn't all that reliable for Flamethrower), or Altaria. I'm open to lots of other ideas too!
Please, I'd like to keep Crawdaunt, Cradily and Magneton. The others I can part with more easily. :)
