Hi guys, new to pokemon once again after not playing since gold/silver (yes that long ago lol) and I have gotten myself ultra sun and began to play. Which I have to say I'm enjoying thoroughly. One thing what ya my curiosity is that I just used the wonder trade system twice and on both occasions received pokemon in weird colour pokeballs and one was named in Japanese with a JPN tag on the summary and the other was in Korean with the KOR tag in the summary. What have I received here? Have I been sent a foreign pokemon? What have I received and some of the summary is in foreign language.

You can get Pokemon from people playing in other regions yeah. That's why the names and some of the information are in other languages. The PokeBall color just has to do with what ball the Pokemon was caught/hatched in.

Wonder Trade is essentially a lottery. You can get anything from a Rattata to a shiny Mewtwo. Anyway, just be careful of hacked pokemon. If you ever suspect something, just ask someone here if it's hacked
