Help Please

    Hi

    I'm new to this Game so maybe there's something I'm missing. I just finished a 5k walk in a very open area and never came across anything and the ones nearby always had 3 Footprints (I've not seen any below 3 Footprints as of yet). I had 4g the whole trip and my Partner came across a few but I never saw a single thing,I did get lots of items from the Pokestops tho. My Q is how can I walk this far and not see a single think,am I missing something? Thanks in advance

    The three footprint problem is a known issue a lot of us are experiencing, unfortunately. ): Hopefully they'll get that fixed again soon so that we can all go back to accurately tracking down that Pokémon we want.

    Other than that, did you try reloading your app? If you were walking with someone and they were seeing Pokémon in the same areas, I have to imagine your phone wasn't fully communicating with GO. That happens to me from time to time; I can't tell you how many times I've bad to restart the app... there are odd hiccups right now.
     
    Hi and thanks for your reply. Yes I restarted app but didn't fix the issue,I must of had a connection as got my items from Pokestops ok.
     
    I would say its a tracking issue on the server side, so not much you can do but wait it out :/
     
    Right, even though you're connected (ie you were getting items), doesn't mean all aspects of the game were loading for you.

    It's frustrating, I know.
