I made a kanto region map in Pokemon essentials. Everything works fine but there is one thing which confuses me.
Suppose when I am in route 1, near pallet town, I want the region map to show my position near pallet, and when I am near Viridian, I want the region map to show my location near Viridian. Thus is it possible to set two map positions of the same map? Route 1 covers a span of 2 blocks in the region map.

It's possible in the map metadata, using mapposition and mapsize.

On this page of the wiki, look for mapposition and mapsize for a more detailed description on how to layout specific shapes of maps.
