Oi. I'm having issues with my tilesets.
Everything was working fine then I downloaded a new tileset.

I set the passage to "X" and saved, put on the 2nd layer and I'm still walking over cliffs, water (but, that's on the first layer), and trees.

I don't know what to do, I followed all the instructions I had and everything I did last time I had this problem.

    Can anyone help?

Is it only with the new map? If you erase things on the second layer using a blank tile on your tileset, you make everything below the spot you erased passable.

Otherwise, if you made a new tileset, you have to put the passability to "x" on the tiles you don't want to be passable in the "Tileset" tab of the Database.

Did you try this or are there still problems?

All the maps I've made with that tileset.

Umm.. I'm not entirely what you mean by this. Hehe ^-^''

I did that, it's still not working (I did remember to hit apply! Lmao. Not like last time I came across this problem!)

Hi jadored! XD anyway... let's see... there are multiple possibilites for this issue... o.o

1 - Perhaps... you forgot to click apply, even though you thought you did! O_O
2 - The terrain Tags are messed up. (this only applies to water)
3 - What Xaviar is trying to explain to you is perhaps you have the map tiled on the wrong layers or just not there.
If you made a mistake on layer three and cropped it out, everything on layer 3,2, and 1 would be deleted. Now, let's say you made a mistake by placing the tree tiles as layer 1 along with where you want to walk and a clear tile above the trees as layer 2. The clear tile in some cases is set to passable. If you have a passable tile over a non-passable tile, you'll still be able to walk over that area.
4 - Have you made sure that somewhere along the lines you haven't created a move route event that turned the "through" function on? If you had then that's why...

Hope some of that, if any, helps. o.o

If none of the advice above has worked as of yet, would you mind posting a picture here, If nothing has worked I'd definitely be able to help you solve the problem since I've had tileset problems in the past myself ;)

    Hi everyone!
Thanks for trying to help but so far nothing seems to be doing the trick =/
I uploaded a video to help other better understand my situation. (Sorry for the text, it's kinda annoying and hard to see, my bad.)

Thank you, that was much better than a picture. Now a solution.

    Try this:

    ~go into your tileset folder
~copy and paste the same Tileset into the folder, rename it from "Copy of (your tileset name) to "Test"
    ~Open your game in RMXP
    ~Go to database
    ~Go to Tilesets
~Change maximum from your current to + 1
    ~Name that Tileset "Test"
~Set your passage/Priority to whatever you feel is necessary
~Go to your map and change the Tileset from the original to the new "test" one I told you to make
    ~playtest and It should work

Now you can do these next steps if you don't want a double copy of the Tileset:

    ~Go back into Database
    ~Go to Tilesets
~Copy the whole tileset number I just asked you to make and delete the one that's marked number one(This will not delete the number just the picture and the Priorities and all that jazz)
Paste the Other Tileset into that number
~Go to your map and change the Tileset from the test to the new number 1
~playtest and It should still work
~ You can now delete the Test tileset as well as the new number you added.

I'm sorry it was so long but that should correct your error. Good luck ;) Sometimes RMXP screws up.

Edit: If none of this works please let me know and we'll try something else ;)

Jadored. If your looking for help, ask in here, the help and requests thread.
It helps keep the forum looking neat when there is not a lot of help threads floating around.
    Cheers.
