3rd Gen Help with a new Team for FireRed

Hey everyone, I'm starting a new game on FireRed and I need some help on ideas for puting a team together. I'm picking either Bulbasaur or Charmander as a Starter because I always start with Squirtle so I thought I'd try something different lol. Thanks :)

Choose Bulbasaur, it is pretty weak when you start off [imo] but when it evolves it is pretty beast.

I might have to download some new ROMs for my iPod and Computer such as FireRed, LeafGreen. I'm currently playing Ruby on my iPod. ;)
