I want to competitive with the pokemon I have in mind, which is Typhlosion, Gengar, Primeape, Dugtrio, Poliwrath, and Dragonite.

Since I am not an elite training master wizard, I thought I'd ask some help to make a good moveset with these pokemon:

    My thoughts:

    Typhlosion - Flamethrower, Thunderpunch, ???, ???,
Gengar - Psychic, Shadow Ball, ???, ??? (I was thinking Hypnosis, Dream Eater though people say that's not good)
Primeape - Substitute, Focus Punch, Thief?, ???
    Dugtrio - Earthquake, Rock Slide, ???, ???
Poliwrath - Surf, Psychic, Earthquake, ???
Dragonite - Dragon Claw, Ice Beam, ???, ???

    So any help with this?

    My thoughts:

    Typhlosion@ Leftovers
    ~Flamethrower
    ~Earthquake
    ~Thunderpunch
    ~Substitute/ Rockslide

    Gengar@ Petaya Berry

    ~Substitute
    ~Thunder Bolt
    ~Ice Punch
    ~Focus Punch

    Primeape@ Salac
    ~Sub
    ~Bulk Up
    ~Rock Slide/ HP: Rock
    ~Reversal

    Dugtrio@ Choice Band
    ~Earth Quake
    ~Rock Slide
    ~Hidden Power[Bug]
    ~Sludge Bomb

I'll grab the rest later (maybe)

Competetive means on Net Battle or other Tournaments right?

If it doesn't then he could always go with:

    Duggy@CB
    EVs:252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
    Nature:Adamant
    Earthquake
    Rock Slide
    Aerial Ace
    Sludge Bomb

For the GB game, since it's hard getting the right type of Hidden Power.

    Dragonite@Lefties
    EVs:252 Attack, 252 Sp. Attack, 6 Speed/252 Sp. attack, 129 Attack, 129 Speed
    Nature:Lonely
    Substitute
    Focus Punch
    Ice Beam
    T-bolt

This covers everything that husk didn't (except Poliwrath, which I don't know much about). Hope this helps!
    :D

    Yes, it's netbattle.

    Warning: some beginnerish questions follow

What's the Hidden Power bug there for? (On Dugtrio)

Also, shouldn't Gengar have at least one psy/ghost/dark move?

First question: Celebi, Eggy, Pure grass types (who you are weak to)

Second: Shadow Ball if you want but, then you have to load the attack EVs and stuff. Thunder bolt and Ice punch cover everything except a few dual types.

    For celebi,alakazam,exeggutor,etc.

    Any psychic type in general.

=P beat you to the punch

anyway don't use it on any psychic type in general because hidden power 70

    70*2=140 *2 for super effective

    100*1.5= 150 *1.5 for STAB

Poliwrath needs belly drum and with CB'ers around it won't get anywhere.

IMO switch something infor poliwrath. Maybe milotic or swampert.

Probably don't use it on something like Gardevoir or Hypno who can take a hit.
Only use it on Alakazam if you think your speed is higher.I just OHKO'ed one.

Oh,you should probably use Aerial Ace over Sludge Bomb for fighting types.

    Good ideas husk.

    Milotic@Lefties
    EVs:252 HP. 129 Sp. def, 129 def
    Nature:Sassy/Bold
    Ice Beam
    Surf
    Recover
    Refresh/Hyponsis

I prefer Refresh, but whatever floats your boat.

Or if you decide to use Swampy, just use the standard Cursepert.
    :D

    Thanks for the great help.

Man, I would really like to keep Poliwrath, after all this team is comprised mostly of my favourites (cept for Gengar, I'd take Haunter over him except I'm guessing that would be frowned upon when it comes to battling) so for that reason I'd like to keep Poliwrath. Oh well...

EDit: Okay I have a question, is there something bad about Destiny Bond?

    Sandstorm,Will-O-Wisp,Spite,Hail,numerous other things I can't think of,Substitute,
    multi-hit attacks.It works in-game pretty well,but not on netbattle.A lot of my in-game
strategies where thrown out the window on netbattle.I had to start over when it came
    to devising strategies.

earthquake still does more than HP Bug

    Earthquake is still there.

    DUGTRIO
    Earthquake
    HP bug
    Aerial Ace
    Rock Slide

just saying earthquake everything that isn't resistant or immune or quad weak to HP bug

    I must've faced a weak Alakazam,then.
