help with Mew

    helloz all, i got a problem with my Mew...he wont obey me...

    this is wuts up. i got 3 badges only, all my pkm are lvl 25, mew has soothe ball held, and is in slot 1/6 in my team...and he never once hit a guy yet!

    just got him through trade at lvl 20

    does any1 know y? or can u give me a better idea of wut to do with him?
     
    I'm not sure this belongs in Strategies and Movesets....

    Anyway, back on topic. I apologize, but I don't know how to answer that and know my answer's accurate. All I can say is that it's most likely that you just don't have enough badges to be able to control a Pokemon of that level yet. I'll look into this further, and perhaps check back with a more concrete solution.

    EDIT:

    Wait...it seems I overlooked something. Sorry! ^^;; ...So, this Mew is a lower level than the Pokemon that obey you, eh? That changes everything. Well, I'm not sure what to say....

    I seem to think there might have been something about Pokemon in a trade sometimes might not respond to you until you get the last badge. Just a thought?

    Ok, I actually know the answer to something!! First of all how did you get him, if you cheated him in or got him somehow anywhere other than the place in Emerald, then Mew, along with Deoxys, will NEVER OBEY YOU. Nintendo has some odd way of putting in a bit of code to prove its the authentic real caught pokemon. My friend tried to shark a mew and deoxys, he captured both and they would never listen, so he just keeps 'em for looks. Of course, Jirachi and Celebi and/or any other pokemon has no problem with this. Its only for mew and deoxys, which is evil since i can't travel to a nintendo event and the other ways to get them are crap that no one but an extremely dedicated person would do. It makes me sad... :(
     
    well yes i used a cheat where u put it on and walk in grass and boom there he is...BUT...i also got 1 that warps me to faraway island and i can catch him and he works!!! and his stats are better, for instance, my lvl 30 mew caught in wild was way weaker then the lvl 30 mew i got at faraway island...i just aint at lillycove city yet so i cant get to faraway island, well i can but when i return i am at lilicove...which then i cant get back to mauville...lol...thanx for your help, made me realize the problem...thanx!
     
    1.thats odd,deoxys should listen to you,even if it is put in by gameshark or action replay mine listens to me in leafgreen(did because I can't go to new york or other places like that)2.how did you get mew on earths edge island as in how did you get to earths edge island,and where do you get the old sea chart to reach the island?(oh yeah,mew doesn't listen to me)
     
    Does any1 know the cheats for gameshark sp to warp to those areas? ( I also can't get to any place that holds nintendo events.)
     
    Trying not to be a Mod, but i think you should ask in the handheld depo and this shoukd be locked as it does not belong here.
