Ive finally started to play online, and before I got into anything serious, I wanted to post my team here for any suggestions.
Ninjask (Ryu) @ Starf Berry / Liechi Berry
Substitute
Baton Pass
Endure
????
He is purely made to baton pass. Substitute and Baton pass are self explanatory for this set. Endure is just for the extra turn, so no matter what, he survives with just a bit of extra life out of him, and the activation of the berry. Starf berry will help for a mix baton passer, giving the set a random boost, but the liechi berry gives me an attack boost for a specific combo (look at Brelloom).
My main question is really for my final move. I was thinking protect, but I don't know if it goes before fakeout. X-scissor would work for a backup move, in case I'm forced to switch it in as my final pokemon or if i can get a super effective in.
Breloom @ focus sash
Sky uppercut
Mach punch
Seed bomb
Spore
Hes obviously used to spore. Focus sash is for surviving the one hit kill; cause either im gonna die in one hit or survive, and with focus sash, I always get a spore in. Sky uppercut and Seed bomb are used for basic attacks, of course. Mach punch is for a final hit; cause not only will it take it out, but it takes out the risk of them waking up at the wrong time.
My main idea for Breloom is to be baton passed to. If its speed is built up enough, i can spore and kill someone, easy. As i said with the regular set, on switching in, it will get a spore in no matter what.
Togekiss (Jet) @ ???
Air Slash
Hyper Beam
Aura Sphere
Nasty Plot
Togekiss is obviously a special sweeper. Air slash is one of togekisses best stab moves, and flinch bonus is always good. Aura sphere is just a cool move, and it always seems to come in use just at the right time, especially against slow enemys such as rampardos. Hyper beam is obviously a last resort, though i could always last through the wait if i get really lucky. Nasty plot is an amazing sporter move, but again, only if i can last till the next turn. Im not exactly sure what item to give it though...any suggestions?
Wevile (flower) @ focus sash (?)
Ice punch
Brick Break
Night Slash
Shadow Claw
Its mostly used to kick ass fast. Ice punch is just a good move for it, so i put it there, and can also 1-hit KO garchomp and salamance. Brick break is good for most wevile counters, as most things with fighting weaknesses can learn earthquake. Night slash and shadow claw are really just extra moves, mostly just for more coverage. I wasn't sure about the item, but focus sash is the first thing that comes to mind, as wevile most likely cant take a hit.
Metagross (Bigg Nife) @ ???
Hammer arm
Zen Headbutt
Meteor Mash
Eartquake
Its mostly just made to kick ass and take names; no real supporting moves here. Hammer arm can obviously take out some big foes, most notable tyranitar. Zen headbutt is just a good move, and is an awesome physical psychic move. Meteor mash is just a signature move to metagross. Earthquake is just cool and classic. Wasn't sure what to do for an item here.
Kingler @ ???
Crabhammer
X-scissor
Giga Impact
Amnesia
An interesting choice for my final pokemon, i know, but it makes a surprisingly good asset. Crabhammer is a signature to kingler, and an awesome physical water move. X-scissor is a backup, and giga impact is really just for last resort sweeping. Amnesia is good for making up for its horrid special defense. It would also be very good to baton pass to. Wasn't sure what to do with the item though, once again.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions or advise! :t194:
