4th Gen Help with Super Contests

I am currently trying to beat all the Super Contests in Pearl. However, I keep getting stuck on the Master Rank Contests. Right now I'm working on the Cool contests using a Magnezone with maxed-out Coolness and holding the Red Scarf. In the visual competition I'm using a reference for which accessories to use, yet my score is somehow still very, very low (last time it was 4 hearts). Any help?

hmmm...okay since you have the sheet to help you on which costumes to where that's good...and since you're coolness is maxed with poffins that is good, wait how are you on Dance??? that counts...and then when it comes time to appeal with attack moves...try to get a move that will double your appeal the next turn...

For Example:

This is what I had on my Ambipom...
Nasty Plot (low score, doubles points next turn, and goes first next turn)
Swift (Points double from Nasty Plot and then I get +2 for going first)

I'm doing okay in the dance and appeal parts; it's the visual part (Master Contest only) that I'm having trouble with. Is there some rule regarding using multiples of the same accessory or where they are placed? I just feel like I'm missing something...

I do not think there is a rule where it is placed...though actually it might...like in creative...if you make something creative with your pokemon in the dress up round u'll get more points I believe...!!!
