Help with Trainer Eyes

But, I'm having problems setting up the Trainer eyes.

This is my event, according to the thread linked, everything is correct, unless I'm looking at this all wrong?

Someone help? Please, thanks.

The problem being, the trainer won't 'notice' me.
but I can talk to them.

You need the Trigger option Event Touch. This lets the event trigger when the player walks into it (or it walks into the player).

"It" is usually a single tile where the event is, but the number in Trainer(3) treats the event as an elongated thing which also takes up that many spaces in front of it. If the player steps into one of those spaces, they are considered to have walked into the event, and thus the event triggers because of Event Touch.

Also, if you're asking a question, try using the [Question] thread prefix in future.
