I need help with Natures and EV's.I don't know what natures are good for a specific pokemon.I want a Charmander,but I don't know what nature to give it.If anyone can simplify natures for me,it would be great.I would also like to know what an EV is.Thanks.Hopefully this is in the right place.

`go to Gamefaqs and read a competitive guide in the Sapphire section, it should give you lots of info on competitive battling. Don't use its movesets seeing they are outdated, for that visit www.smogon.com

If you read the EV section in that FAQ, you should understand the basics of it. On the other hand, sometimes making good EVs requires a lot of knowledge and experience on Netbattle

That's why there are helpful places like morlord to just give u standard sets along with the EVs.
