I'm sure you can find them at a Flea Market or something for like $0.01 each, or try a card shop.

I noticed this too. The older packs (Base Set, Jungle, Etc) always came with energy's, I had about 50 of each before I sold my original cards. Now you rarely get energy's at all, I've only got one of each except for Dark & Metal.

Ebay... Some people sell energy lots, which go for a rather low price.

Probably because everyone is packed with loads of energies. They can still be found in tins and at a flea market/people selling their cards for a low amount of money.

But, imagine a meta, where energies suddenly become rare...
