yeah i take good care of everything I have. I think how you take care of what is yours says something about yourself. If you don't respect what is yours than how much can i count on you to respect anything of mine or myself. although i don't entirely consider someone who loses stuff a lot as someone who doesn't care about their things as much as someone who just lets everything they own turn to shit

You guys make me feel bad

I try, but I get pretty careless and I tend to drop/break things more often than the average adult should. And I'm usually cool with people handling my things, provided you ask before using them.

It mostly depends on what the item happens to be. If it's, say, my iPhone, I'll likely have insurance, causing me to be less concerned about how I handle it.
