Hey Everybody

I'm a new member - at least, in spirit. Realistically I've been here for a little under a few months, or should I say I've had this account for that long. I'm not sure how these threads are usually started, but here goes nothing!

My favorite Pokemon types are (in no particular order):

Dark: Mightyena and Absol, of course!
Fire: Because the Fire starters have never failed me when the other types have.
Ice: Though only for Froslass, because Froslass is amazing. :cheeky:

I [would] say Dragon types are among my favorites, but they seem kind of...not noobish, really, but too reliable. Fire, Dark, and Ice provide more of a challenge. That's not to say I don't love Dragon too; it's just more of an easy way out at times.

My favorite Pokemon thus far are Froslass, Blaziken, Absol, and Leafeon!

Mew is by far my favorite legendary Pokemon, a close second being Suicune.

I'm called Fara or Sam, whichever you (the caller) prefers!

I've played Pokemon games since I was seven, when I first fell in love with Pokemon Red, Blue, Crystal, Gold, and Silver; I've been hooked from the moment I heard Charmander's cry and saw its original Bad-A sprite. While I think that sprite and game quality overall has gone up as the games get more and more generations, and the franchise becomes more complex, I can't help but wonder why it is there are what seem to be repeat Pokemon (how Flying-Normal evolution lines can there be?).

But that might just be my nostalgia goggles.

Anyway... My favorite region (for reasons unbeknownst to me) has always Johto!

We have a lot in common, actually! I love the Johto region, I love everything about Johto, and my favorite starter of the Johto region is the Chikorita line! There's a ton of nostalgia at the General Pokemon Gaming sections, where you can talk a lot about the classic games and reminisce the memories there. There's a lot to talk about in terms of Pokemon, and other stuff you may be interested in. ^_^

Hi! It's nice that you made a thread anyway. n__n Better late than never, yeah? Welcome to PC, dear friend!

I'm glad that you like Mightyena and Absol, because they're one of my favorite Dark types as well! Of course, I have a lot of others, such as Weavile and even Zoroark! Yeah, I have lots of favorites for pretty much every type you can name. u__u I guess it's because it's hard for me to dislike certain Pokemon, I suppose~

And yes, Froslass is absolutely fabulous ok. ♥ You're awesome for that.

But yeah, enjoy it around here at PC~! I think you'll love it here. :3

That's great! By the way Absol is one of my favorites, and Suicune is my favorite legendary. And Mew is the cutest pixie legendary.

That's what I think too. It feels like they're following a pattern since the second generation.
