    Hello PokeCommunity!

    My name's Corey but you can call me Rookie if you want, it kind of fits well considering I AM a rookie with where Pokemon have gone. I've been a fan since the first season of Pokemon aired on TV. I can't even remember how long ago that was but I know it's been over 12 years. I was 11 years old when I was introduced to Pokemon from VHS in the mail as an addition to a subscription I had to Nintendo Power. From then on I was hooked. Now I'm 25 years old, just dusted off my 3DS I had laying in my room and finally decided to submit to Pokemon White and possibly try to catch up on the Pokemon movies/tv shows. I'm so new to the game that I haven't even passed Route 1.

    I'm a bit of a noob but I am a fast learner.

    Ello' and welcome Corey, glad you've joined today~!

    Ah, you know; I've watched the T.V series of Pokemon ever since it first went on the air on where I live~ The show was really quite classic and great back then. :3 Now, it's still good, but yeah, I like the Indigo Plateau saga better. BTW, I remember getting subscriptions to Nintendo Power. <3 Though it wasn't exactly where I've heard about pokemon, ehehe... It was actually one of my first video games ever on my Game Boy Color.

    Black and White are also great pokemon games imo~ I do hope you'll enjoy them. :3 If you'd like, you can come visit the Black and White board - a place to discuss Pokemon Black and White. Orrrr you can check out the Pokemon Anime board, where essentially, you can talk about the Pokemon Anime with other members. ^^

    So yeah, whatever you decide to do in these forums, I do hope you'll have fun, and see you around too~!

    Pokemon always sucks people back in, it's just that addicting. I've been a fan since I was very young myself, a lot of us are like that here! Glad to see you're trying White, personally I enjoyed that game a whole lot. Did you ever try some of the games that came before it, like Diamond/Pearl or HeartGold/SoulSilver? n_n

    But yeah, I'm sure this place is pretty intimidating and confusing at first, but that's what all the staff are here for~ we're always open to help you, as are the members. <3 Enjoy your stay and feel free to contact me if you need anything, all right?
