Hey all I just finished playing a red/blue combo rom and that has lead me here seeking a similar HG/SS rom or G/S if none exists. Basically what I'm looking for is HG/SS with all 251 pokemon and few or no other changes. Links for hex editor and other tools for HG/SS very much appreciated.

Thanks! There look to be some fairly extensive resources here. I am having trouble finding what I need however. It seems that most everyone here is hacking fire red/leaf green, emerald, pearl, diamond, black/white. I am looking for patches or tools for HG/SS or Gold/Silver so either 4th or 2nd gen. I'm a little unclear if I could use the same tools on HG/SS that are used on the other 4th gen games. Thanks for any links. There is a lot of content here and it is time consuming to dig through all of it not knowing exactly what I'm looking for.

I think I finally found what I'm looking for. Not 100% sure if this is what I am after but after reading through I'm going to give it a try, see HG Golden edition by BlazingMagmar. Would post link but this is my 5th post. I have a rom all patched up and ready to go. I don't want pokemon from later generations in the game, just the originals that were in the HG/SS pokedex, no national dex to start out etc etc all catchable in one file. I also got the SuperGold97 patch and will give that a try soon. Anyone with experience with these patches let me know what you think! Thanks all!
