And, lastly, since Claydol Great Expectations won't be legal come August, and it's a staple in basically everything, I have a semi-competent substitute from HGSS: Noctowl. It's Night Sight PokePower allows you to draw one card each turn as long as it isn't affected by a special condition.
There's also Dodrio from Supreme Victors which has pretty much the same Poke-Power, but has free retreat, 80 HP as opposed to Noctowl's 90, and a +20 Weakness as opposed to Noctowl's x2. Not to mention that Dodrio's a normal rare while Noctowl is a holo (not counting it's theme deck non holo counterpart), so Dodrio might be cheaper. Basically it comes down to personal preference.
On a side note, the set Claydol comes from is Great
Encounters, not Great Expectations.
Holon's Electrode (what was it even doing in there, anyways? You didn't even have a Holon's Voltorb to evolve it from, so you couldn't use it).
Holon's Electrode can be attached to a Pokemon from your hand as two Rainbow Energy as long as you return an Energy card attached to that Pokemon to your hand. You didn't even need a Holon's Voltorb to use the Energy effect. Great card back in the day, and would probably be considered broken in today's format.
Adding on to donavannj's suggestions, Bebe's Search is another card that can search out Pokemon from your deck. It's similar to Pokemon Communication, except that it's a Supporter and can return any card to your deck as opposed to Pokemon only with Communication.

Also, the Larvitar and Pupitar you chose don't require Fighting Energy, so the Fighting Energy can be replaced with Double Colorless Energy, since both your main attackers have two Colorless Energy in their attack costs, and can be fully powered up one turn sooner.
It might also help to include Feraligatr Prime, so that way you can reattach the Water Energy you return to your hand with Blastoise in one turn, so you can use Hydro Launcher turn after turn. For this one, I would personally replace the Tyrainitar line with the Feraligatr line and replace the Dark Energy with Water Energy, but if you absolutely don't want to remove Tyranitar, you can try a 1-0-1 line of Feraligatr. (1 Totodile, no Croconaw, and 1 Gatr, since Rare Candy skips over the Stage 1). Floatzel (UL) is another consideration, since it has a Poke-Power that lets you attach a Water Energy from your hand to Floatzel in addition to your normal Energy attachment, and Blastoise has the Wash Up Poke-Power, which lets you move a Water Energy from one of your Benched Pokemon to your Active as often as you like a turn.
