Simply, what's your favorite distraction or side game in Pokemon? Having gotten HeartGold the other day, I'd say the Voltorb Flip game or the Pokethlon (or whatever, I'll learn the name later) are high up on my list.

Just don't hurt me for liking Voltorb Flip more than the slots, and we all good.

I really like the Pokeathlon mini games, especially the ones where you karate chop bricks and doing some hurdles. :)

The slot machines/ Safari Zone [and all other versions of it] and Contests :L

I usually do all those things after I beat the game, because I like to run through as fast as possible without being distracted so i can find out what happens. I did try the Pokethlons though and they were p cool. I almost won.

The National Park's bug catching contest.

They should have treasure hunts in the various caves around the Pokemon world.

The Safari Zone/Bug Catching Contest/Great Marsh, it's all the same thing at the core. :P

In R/S, I became obsessed with collecting items for secret bases, and in D/P, I became obsessed with mining for orbs in the underground. XD

bah, 2 days ago I spent about 4 hours playing the Voltorb flip so I can get my Dratini. Well thats not my favorite, but the contests in RSE are.
