hey i wanted to know how DragonBall became DragonBall Z. Im not a big fan of ANIME but i like some anime. Can someone please answer my question???

Easy...The manga up to volume 16 was about Goku as a child. Then afterwards it's about him as an adult, but after Goku stopped being a child Toei decided to make a second series.
