Hello everyone~ Just a returning fan here. Played the first 2 games and got lost somewhere along the way to here. Just recently got back into it again. I'm playing on Omega ruby now. Don't really have any friends who play so decided to join this forums. I'm a student and part time worker, who loves to read sci-fi and other interesting works. And I love Pokemon of course :) and I'm excited about returning to the series. I like casual battles, have been thinking about battling competitively soon. My friend code is in my sig.

Anyway, welcome. How are your first impressions of OR, is it particularly different? Do you plan on returning into the main series games, given that OR/AS might still be delving into slightly familiar territory? OR/AS does eventually devolve into sci-fi, so you'd probably enjoy that. Yes, I am enjoying it a lot. Besides the much improved graphics and the different pokemon, it is very much the same to what I knew and loved before. Also the fairy type, and dark type confused me at first, but now its not so strange. I've even found some familiar original pokemon. :) Delve into the main sequence? I assume you mean, because OR/AS is a remake. Yes I plan on going into Sun when they come out, I might try x/y when I get around to it too. Do they need to be played in order to understand the whole storyline?
