Hey there,

My name's Nhil but I go by Aquila. There's not much to know about me but I've been playing the pokemon games since yellow and the TCG since 1998. I'm better at tcg than vgc, having attended a few worlds and stuff.

I'm 23 and theres nothing really special about me, I've been looking for a definitive place to share ideas, talk about games etc and really this is one of the nicer sites I've seen thus I decided to join. My favorite pokemon would have to be scizor, due to the fact he actually looks really badass.

I've been playing Pokémon since Red and Blue, haha (personally got latter). Yellow is great, though; I loved having Pikachu following me around like it did. It would've been a lot better, though, if we were allowed to evolve it into Raichu. If I remember correctly, we didn't have the ability to do that, did we? I used to be in TCG scene as well, but haven't been collecting cards regularly since I was about nine or so; they just take a lot of money. Still buy booster packs every once in a while whenever I get the chance, though.

Not going to lie, I pictured some really creepy person holding like a large knife, standing in front of a locked door which would be the only way out. Haha my imagination will be the death of me one day.

Yeah as far as I can remeber, we couldn't evolve pikachu in yellow as it was more suppose to be based off the anime with the character being Ash. Due to the fact pokemon yellow was a special edition with the GBA release (i still have mine yay).

You are indeed right, I'm not a mass collector like I use to be, only buying cards I play with etc now, although it dosen't help I play other TCGs and spend money on that, too many conflicting hobbies! lol.
