hg/ss need urgent help! plz!

ok so ive figured my team for heartgold and this is gunna be it

recently i thought of tyranitar

mean look for legits

confuse ray

now i thought that crobat is a great pokemon good speed but it is only good for stalling i really dont kno wat to do! i wanna keep it but at the same time i wanna ditch it. so i guess wat im asking is if i should ditch it? for a dragonite
i have 2100 points to buy a dratini in goldenrod(thats where i am)but i was thinking should i? plz plz plz plz plz!!! help!!!!

oh and any good "(fill ins)" would be nice thanx but plz dont say to replace moves unless u can really convince me plz

ok ill try to help you :P firs i think you should judge by urself who do you find more usefull train both a dragonite and a crobat

(Train crobat irst dragonite needs lot more exp)


And this is the moveset i can give you:


Arcanine: (Flare blitz, Thunder fang, Extreme speed, Crunch)

Gyaradoss: is good

Electubuzz: -If attak is higher (thunder pucnh, Ice punch, Fire punch, Cross chop
If Sp.attack is higher(Thunderbolt,thunder wave,psychic,HP Grass)

Crobat: Seems okay

tyranator: (Crunch, Earthquake, Stone edge. Dragon dance/Rock polish

It looks like a good team and you don't really want more than two of the same move type, for crobat however i personally would use a Togekiss instead

Replace Crobat with Xatu, give it a moveset along the lines of this..

Xatu
Psychic
Shadow Ball/Ominous Wind
U-Turn
Giga Drain/Lucky Chant

It's very effective at beating/scouting the Johto Elite four and is a reliable Pokemon to have.

Also, if you have access to Pokemon Battle Revolution or another DS, I reccomend you get a Magmortar instead of Arcanine. Magmortar's movepool is much better than Arcanine's
and Growlithe has a reputation of being weak and hard to raise.

but i do not want to get rid of arcanine! soory but i really want it.

dragonomega i dont like flare blitz so i think i will get it to learn flamethower and i like electabuzz.yeh tyranitar is good.not getting crobat.

Let tyranitar learn Stone Edge or Rock Slide. Possibly Crunch to replace Dark Pulse, since Tyranitar have little to no Sp. Atk

Since you're going to have two bulky attackers, I swept Gyarados for a big defensive one.
Here are all moveset and explanations.

Arcanine: Reversal, Crunch, Flare Blitz, Extremespeed.

You must train Growlithe up to Lv. 25 to get Reversal, to Lv. 42 to get Crunch, and to Lv. 48 to get Flare Blitz. Then, go to the Move Relearner in Blackthorn City and give him Extremespeed (until this moment, keep Flamethrower - Lv. 34 as fourth move).

Umbreon: Faint Attack, Last Resort, Toxic, Iron Tail

Umbreon learns Faint Attack and Last Resort respectively at Lv. 36 and Lv. 50 only if evolved already. Toxic and Iron Tail can be learned respectively by TM06 and TM23.

Electivire: Thunderpunch, Ice Punch, Signal Beam, Rock Slide.

Electivire learns Thunderpunch at Lv. 28, in every three of its evolution stages.
Ice Punch and Signal Beam can be learned via Move Tutors in Battle Frontier entrance.
Rock Slide can be learned by TM80.

Dragonite: Dragon Dance, Dragon Claw, Brick Break, Fly.

Dragonite learns Dragon Dance at Lv. 53 in Dragonair stage.
Dragon Claw and Brick Break can be learned respectively by TM02 and TM31.
Fly can be learned by HM02.

Tyranitar: Stone Edge, Focus Blast, Shadow Claw, Stealth Rock.

Tyranitar learns Stone Edge at Lv. 47 in Pupitar stage.
Focus Blast, Shadow Claw and Stealth Rock can be learned respectively by TM52, TM65 and TM76.

Crobat: Cross Poison, Mean Look/Haze, Air Slash, X-Scissor.

Crobat learns Cross Poison by Move Relearner, Mean Look or Haze at Lv. 33 or 45.
X-Scissor can be learned by TM81.
(You should give him Mean Look until you catch all the Legendaries, use it just for that. Then, give him Haze.)
