I figure the Official Guide Booke for these games to be at least as large or larger than that of Platinum's guide book. The game comes filled pack with new features and more that is should fill up pages faster than first thought. Though, now that the scans are coming out, things about the game should develop faster and answer some unknown questions about what's within the games.

As for the new art, Lance of course looks wicked, and looks more grown than his original Sugimori art before. Other than this, I think I just might go out and purchase the English guide book when it is released. :P
 
Wow totally awesome. But holy hell the Pokethlon could practically be a shortcut from Olivine to the national park area.

Long story short: Kanto isn't included in these guides and seperate guides for Kanto will be released.

LOVE Lance's and Clair's artworks<3 Jasmine and everyone else looks wonderful. About the Map, I don't see Pokethlon nor National Park.

Does the Guidebook have any non-Pokemon artworks that this map doesn't have (not counting Rockets, Elite Four and all artworks that we've already seen)?

This map poster is the bonus to the Guidebook, isn't it?

Nope, the only other types of artwork other than E4/Gym Leaders/TR are that of Pokemon/Apricorns :P

Yeah, it was just an add-on to the back of the book that rip you out :P

Awww, too bad. If it exists, it's probably in one of the other guides. Speaking of which, which guide did you purchase?

Well, I'm getting this book, so once I recieved it in the mail, I will look through it and see if there's any more artworks. If possible, I will try to scan high-quality images. :D

Dang, from the look of things, it seems like there's only a Johto guide out at the moment.
Better wait until they release a lolhuge guide with both Johto+Kanto, and a huge Pokedex with updated move lists.
 
@Kohei:
Kanto will most likely get a seperate guide book set and will most likely be set apart from Johto which means no mega combo book.
 
I really wish they would at least announce a tentative release date for the Kanto book :/ It sucks that they decided to do it this way, but it makes it worse not knowing when the second half is going to be released lol :(
 
Just wondering how big is the Johto book?
