That's rough, I hate waiting even for the Japanese cards to be released there!
I just got back, the sleeves this time are very cool and the prerelease Pichu card is holo.

Hey awesome! :> I'm sure you'll have a great time, that was my first prerelease and I thought it was really cool.
The notable ones I pulled were: Blissey prime, Feraligatr prime, holo Noctowl, holo Azumaril, some good staples (when they become playable), and red Gyarados, which is one of the secret rares in the set.
One disappointing thing I learned at the prerelease is that the Legend Lugia and Ho-oh cards come in one piece per pack, instead of both in one pack like in the Japanese sets. It's going to be so frustrating trying to find all four pieces!

I wanted to go last Saturday, but I couldn't due to snow. I'll try to go to one this Saturday instead, but more snow is expected, so there's a slim chance that I'll be going to that one.
I actually had a feeling that they wouldn't put both halves in the same pack. I went to day and had a blast!
Three prime pulls! Unfortunately, two of them were at the end when I got two extra packs. But I used the first prime (Ampharos) in my deck and went 3-1. The last two primes I got were Blissey and another Ampharos. No Legend or Secret Rare cards, but I'm still very happy about my pulls.
