I'm trying to build a team to beat Red in HeartGold. Will this idea work?

    Memento the Togekiss
    -Extrasensory
    -Air Slash
    -Aura Sphere
    -Fly

    Blackfire the Typhlosion
    -Eruption
    -Flamethrower
    -Blast Burn
    -Rock Climb

    Kris the Espeon
    -Signal Beam
    -Psychic
    -Future Sight
    -Shadow Ball

    Doc the Electrode
    -Thunderbolt
    -Mirror Coat
    -Light Screen
    -Explosion

    Zeurel the Poliwrath
    -Surf
    -Dynamicpunch
    -Mind Reader
    -Hypnosis

    Nidojoker the Nidoking
    -Earthquake
    -Poison Jab
    -Horn Drill
    -Megahorn

I'll try to help you out. My comments will be in BOLD.

I know you might want Fly for traveling purposes, but Roost is the better option against Red. Instant recovery is always a good thing.

    Blackfire the Typhlosion
    -Eruption/Focus Blast
    -Flamethrower
    -Swift
    -Rock Climb
You don't need 3 moves of 1 type on a Pokemon. Granted, Typhlosion's movepool is rather shallow, but try my given moves and see how it works.

    Kris the Espeon
    -Signal Beam
    -Psychic
    -Morning Sun
    -Shadow Ball
Again, instant recovery with Morning Sun.

    Doc the Electrode
    -Thunderbolt
    -Reflect/Swift
    -Light Screen
    -Explosion
Mirror Coat isn't all that great. Do Reflect so you can have both Physical and Special protection. And give Electrode the Light Clay to increase the time Reflect and Light Screen are active. Also put Electrode in your lead position, that way you can get off the Screens as fast as possible.

    Zeurel the Poliwrath
    -Waterfall
    -Brick Break
    -Rock Slide/Ice Punch
    -Hypnosis
Poliwrath's base Atk is higher than it's SpAtk, so phyiscal moves work better. Get Ice Punch if you can; keep in mind it's a Battle Frontier move tutor move. Otherwise, my given moves work fine.

    Nidojoker the Nidoking
    -Earthquake
    -Poison Jab/Thunderpunch
    -Horn Drill/Ice Punch/Avalanche
    -Megahorn
Again, the Elemental Punches give excellent coverage. Avalanche can be used in place of Ice Punch, though. Again, the Punches are Battle Frontier moves.

    Hope that helped a bit.

Good suggestion with Togekiss, I'll probably do that.
I re-taught Typhlosion Swift, but I'm really skeptic about 5 PP moves that only have 70% accuracy...
    Again, good point with Espeon.
I'll do that with Electrode, I'll probably need the resistance from Red anyway.
As for Poliwrath and Nidoking, I can't say the punches will happen. Avalanche would be helpful, and I may keep Poison Jab.
