hi peeps i just started playing platinum in the last couple of weeks when i borrowed my sis's ds and im hooked:classic:,i bought my own ds and platinum and soul silver i have a lot of questions about things i don't understand, its changed a lot since yellow, i know im probably too old for it lol im 22, but ye am hooked on it, it's like i'm 10 all over again.i'd also like to make lots of friends for the wi-fi part (trading and so on)

also i have quite a large request for a noob, but i've limped my way to the pokemon league but cant beat them for the life of me, if some one could lend me a powerful pokemon team that could white wash em' i'd hugely appreciate it and trade em' back as soon as i beat the league

    Heeey, welcome!

There are plenty of Pokemon fans in there 20's, no worries there. xD

& As far as the Elite Four go, I wouldn't trust any trade that isn't permanent.. People have known to be scammed that way. The best thing to do to beat the E4 is just go out and train your Pokemon until you've got a better chance, and definitely stalk up on items like Revives, and Full Heals. It's also strategy that counts. IE, learn what Pokemon they each have, and in what order they send them out. I always make sure that the first Pokemon in my party can take down the first one or two they send out. Whether it be due to type disadvantages, or it's attacks, etc. o_o

Buuut, I don't consider myself a pro at the games, and you could head over the Wifi Center, if you just wanna go ahead and chance a non-permanent trade. Whatever you end up doing, good luck beating them down. xD

thanks for the welcome, i dont really know where to start when getting involved with the community so i guess i'll just just try and make some friends so i guess i'll add in my wi-fi details later
