Hey!

I'm Strohmian, and I'm pretty new around these parts. I've been a long-time Pokemon fan, and recently discovered Pokemon Go. I've heard a lot about PokeCommunity from my girlfriend, and am looking forward to being a part of the forum :)

Outside of Pokemon, I love to read (mostly history or fantasy), travel, and watch shows like Game of Thrones, House of Cards, or any number of various anime, to name a few. I enjoy the outdoors when I'm not busy immersing myself in strategy, indie, or FPS games. I also like to draw, cook, and listen to music when I have the chance.

I'm looking forward to seeing everything that PC has to offer, and hope to see you all around!

Awesome that your girlfriend recommended you to the site? hopefully you'll be sticking with us a while yeah? ;] Lots of stuff to do here on PC, funny that you bring up Pok?mon GO too as there was recently a forum opened on it, if you haven't yet I'd certainly check it out. ^ ^ Shame the game isn't out internationally yet, Canadians like me don't have the chance to play it hehe. x'D Hope you're having lots of fun with it!!
What sorts of things do you like to draw and what games do you play? =) I myself play Elder Scrolls, LoZ, Borderlands and of course Pok?mon atm. And are you looking forward to Sun & Moon?

Haha, yeah, it was one of the first forums I've checked out! There were a lot of interesting topics on the game there, especially seeing as you don't receive much information when you first start playing. Hopefully they'll be releasing it in Canada soon! It's a blast, but there's still a lot of bugs to be worked out. I also think that they have a good base set up, and hopefully in the future they'll add new features, like trading, random battles, and a more social aspect.

As for drawing, I'm not nearly as good as I would like to be, so that kind of puts me off from drawing a lot of things that I would like. I've been trying to draw a lot of people lately (mostly more anime-styled), but I also love to draw nature scenes! I'd like to work on drawing buildings as well, but I've been having a rough time with perspective.

Lately I've been playing Civilization V, Gone Home, and a game called Hearts of Iron IV. I've also been replaying Pokemon Ruby, Fire Emblem, and keep meaning to finish Ace Attorney. I finished Skyrim a little while back, and really enjoyed it! I am looking forward to Sun and Moon, but I haven't played any of the more recent games, so I'll need to get caught up on them before the release.

Oh hello there! welcome to PC, it's a pleasure to have you here with us!

Ohh so, Kyoko told you about PC? that's great. Always nice to join when you have somebody close around. It could be a great help for you! I don't have any plans on getting Pokemon Go, it's pointless to get it down here. Not a good place to go around with your phone haha. But I'm glad that you are enjoying it! there's a lot of people here playing like crazy, so you won't be alone at all. I do need to watch the last season of House of Cards, I stopped watching it when I started it.

She did! :) And that would make the game quite a bit less enjoyable! In theory, it's a fun concept, but not always in practice.

That was the same with me, too. I watched the first couple of episodes of this last season, but ended up not continuing with it for a month, or so. I continued watching it again, and ended up going through the rest of the season in no time! It really was a good one!
