I loove your avatar haha. I'm probably one of the only ones who prefers the older style/anime Morty over the HG/SS one, haha. But he's grown on me a lot as well, I just still prefer the other one!
Anyway, I'm really glad to see you've made some posts already. There are many places to get involved in here, including off-topic sections for those of us who don't always want to talk about Pokemon. Enjoy your stay and feel free to PM a moderator (bold blue name) if you'd like help with the forum~!
