[Intro] Hi Everyone!

Hi everyone,

My name is Rosy, and I am happy to join a Pokémon centered community. I hope to get to meet and get to know you all through our shared love of Pokémon.

A little bit of myself. My current top two fave Pokémon are Pikachu and Corviknight. My fave type a ghost types. The first game that introduced me to Pokémon was FireRed/LeafGreen in 2004. I've played all the mainline games with a few spin off games here and there. I also have at least one game from each generation including remakes from the gameboy era to switch.

Pikachu and Corviknight is honestly a really cool combo! I personally have Crobat and Torterra as my top 2, the latter purely out of nostalgia lol. My first game was Diamond back in, i'd like to say 2009 or 2010. Ghost type is a great type to have as favorite as well, I realized just recently that aside from Poltergiest, all Ghost moves hit for either 100 accuracy, or never missed. that's pretty darn dope.

If you've played all the main line games, you're already way ahead me since I've yet to get to Gen 6 even eheh. My gaming backlog is huge right now...

Heya Rosy! Welcome to PC! Ghost types sure are great, although my favourite type would be Fire. Also Pikachu and Corviknight are great Pokemon too. My favourite Pokemon would be Charizard and Nidoking (I'm a bit of a genwunner :P). Fun fact: I started out with Fire Red/Leaf Green as my first games too in 2010 if I remember correctly. And I have only played up to Emerald so you are way ahead of me.

I hadn't noticed that! That's a neat fact and it's something I'll keep in mind when building teams. I did not know that the move Poltergeist existed until I saw Cybertron playing recently. I must have missed out on that - there are so many cool moves and names.

Charizard and Nidoking are great Pokémon! I remember spending a few weeks trying to breed an egg onto Nidoking and it threw me for a loop having to breed Nidoran female with the correct Pokémon. It was such a big chain and then eventually I gave up 😅.

Some of the newer iterations are cool! When gen 5 came, I wasn't sure if I would end up liking it but it's a close third next to XY.

Oh you play competitively? You might be interested in our Competitive Pokemon section, and we also a Showdown server if you're into that hehe.

Absolutely there's so many cool moves and names these days for Pokemon that I cannot keep track of them all anymore! I see that as a good thing though, lots of variations and possible battle styles/gimmicks hehe.

That will be my next stop! I used to be really into competitive Pokémon but soon burned out from all the breeding hehe. That is so true, I always like to try new things and styles, I may work on a trick room team or rain team.

I never really understood why Nidoking and Nidoqueen cannot breed tbh. They should be able to as they are the same species. Unless maybe evolution changes them somehow :/

I plan on playing the games gen 4 onwards soon hehe but the gen 5 OST is really cool (at least as much as I have heard).
