Maybe this would be better suited in the D/P/Pt Q&A thread?
Meh, here are a few thigns I reccommend you to do to enable you to defeat the E4:

    1. Train. Even though this might get boring after a while, it is damn worth every minute!

    2. Simple pokemon type match ups will definately help you make your way through the E4.

    3. Play Smart. Don't make silly mistakes and make sure that you always save betwen each E4 member.

    Um, yeah:
Train. Your Pokemon are way to weak for the Elite Four. Like Curious said, it may get boring, but its certainly the best thing you can do.

Hello, and welcome, new member! Trouble with them E4, eh? Alright, when facing them with Lower leveled pokemon, you will want to stock up on them Revives (25+?) and Hyper Potions (25+). This can save you a lot of training time. And concentrate most of your training on 2-3 pokemon. It takes less time then training all of them. The others can serve as "hit dummies". When battling the E4, your main "High level pokemon" will run out of strength. Switch to the dummies to take the punch, and hopefully you have a turn to use Revive or a potion on your main fighters. Continue this process, and it's smart to have your fast and hard hitting pokes as your mains. These don't need too high defenses.
This is just what I do when I couldn't be bothered to train. =)

Thanks, I'll train more. Which levels should I reach?
One more thing, i've been reading some posts and I have a doubt, what's EV training?

    thanks again :)

The level your pokemon should reach considering the difficulty of the E4 in Platinum about 55-60 + at the minimum.
I am not very good at Ev triaing but I think it is when how many stats the certian pokemon gains in Speed, Attack Defense ect.
