Well, I used to do a bit of hacking myself, so feel free to ask for any advice. I'm awful at scripting though. xDD;; -which is the main part of it. ._.;-
There are a few tuts in the Hacks section, and also many people you can ask for help. :3

If you need any hacking tools, Whack-a-Hack works.
 
Your new to ROM-Hacking? I see, I see... Well, I believe the Emulation Section can teach and help you with those things.. Plus, If you can't really find the stuff you want, you could always ask hackers or maybe, the moderator in that specified section.
