So I was battling hordes in Victory Road, I had my Blastiose used Surf to knock out the whole horde at once. After the battle it said I had found an item called a Damp Rock. So it looks like you can get a damp rock using Surf in Victory road (or other caves too?). I created this thread for us to share hidden items that we found randomly or purposely so others can obtain these items as well.

    Hidden item list:
Look at the first post for a list of all hidden items (Thanks Hikamaru!!)

I actually tried this out for myself without even knowing (and ended up with a lot of Damp Rocks) but yeah I always thought those things like trees, tall grass, rocks etc. in the background in a wild Pokemon battle were purely aesthetic but that was smart of them to make you wield items from it if you use a specific move on it.

And here's the full list of locations, the objects in the wild battles, the items yielded and which moves trigger it: https://www.serebii.net/xy/wilditems.shtml

I agree, I applaud Gamefreak for adding that feature. Thanks for the list bro!

Serebii has coined them as Wild Items rather than Hidden items. Right behind the opposing Pokemon, there will be something like a large rock, stalagmite, stalagtite, Tree, or tall grass which can be destroyed by certain attacks.

These background areas are what give you items after battle.

Could you do that for a heat rock also? I need one.

Thanks, I just looked at it. I need something to learn heat wave.

If you chose Charmander and have your Charizard at 71 you can have Heat wave. Route 18 you can also catch a Torkoal and have it learn Heat Wave. Those two seem the easiest.

Torkoal and Charizard have it as Default moves as well so you can Relearn Heat Wave if you have Heart Scales. Just noticed that.

Does anyone know how to get the Soul Dew?

Does anyone know how to get the Soul Dew?

Don't believe its in X or Y. No one has found it and neither Serebii nor Bulbapedia have a location for it so I'd assume its not available in the current Generation without outside assistance such as events.

there's no listed location for it, however it is still listed in the data of X and Y, so it does exist in the coding of the game: https://www.serebii.net/itemdex/souldew.shtml
It COULD be like the Blazikenite where it is only given while being held by by Latios or Latias as there is no mega stone listed in the coding of the game for Latios or Latias https://www.serebii.net/xy/megaevolutions.shtml

Which could mean 1 of 2 things: the "leaked" photos of mega LAtios and Latias are fake (and come on, they're IDENTICAL, why would they make two pokemon that go to the extreme of looking so different from each other from colour scheme to even their genders mega evolutions that look identical to each other?) OR the Soul Dew IS their mega stones, but only time will tell. But, the long and short of it is that Soul Dew does exist within the game, so it could be given out or won or something, it's not being phased out because there's no way to transfer items from gen 5 to gen 6, so if it was being removed, it wouldn't be in the coding of X and Y
