    Hidden Powers
    Rated M (16 +) Due to mild suggestive themes physical and verbal violence by villains and SMALL ammounts of coarse language.​

    As a cold wind blows, and the seas ripples grow,
    As the day fades into the night.
    Behind days that we know, millenium ago,
    Your powers were hidden from sight.
    But please do not fear, for the day it draws near,
    When your hidden powers come out to fight.​


    Proffesor Juniper contemplated the text on the stone tablet, two days before hand she had found it washed up on the shore on her recent trip to Undella Town it was written using uknown but she had studied the language and was able to make a rough translation in the form of the poem. "What could it mean?" She said quietly to herself. She focused on the first line. "As a cold wind blows, and the seas ripples grow, As the day fades into the night..." She repeated the line over and over, until she came to a possible conclusion. "The cold winds are obvious, as its winter cold winds are always blowing." She thought. "The Seas ripples growing...hmmm... Day fading into night... of course... the eclipse!"​

    The biggest event in the world of pokemon was about to happen, the millenium eclipse, set to happen every three millenium (three million years for those unfamiliar with the term) the millenium eclipse was the most widely and heavily celebrated festival in the world. Every region every city every town and village would throw a big party and market to celebrate simoultaneously, the uproar of cheers and laughter would be so great that no matter where you were in the world you would here it. The festival would begin at noon when the moon would rise up over the sun and go on for twenty-four hours, the moon would then fall once more and the festival would end.​

    "This must be the time the poem explains, the moon controls the oceans waves,it turns day into night and its happening tommorow in Winter, when the cold wind blows!" Proffesor Juniper exclaimed. "But... Ive got the time I just dont have the event... What is going to happen at the festival, thats the real question..." She said with less enthusiasm. "I suppose we can only wait."​

    The next morning every man, woman and child in the pokemon world awoke with enthusiasm and headed to out to prepare, there would be no work nor school that day for that day was the festival of the millenium eclipse. Even gym leaders and trainers left their gyms and journeys to return home for the millenium eclipse. As Noon drew closer people were getting more and more excited and just as the world went dark the lights of the stalls, lanterns, games and fun of the festival sprang to life an uproar of cheers exploded from the millions of people celebrating the festival worldwide, and then the festivities began markets, pokemon tournaments, pokemon contests, Pokemon musicals, ranger capture arena challenges, trivia games, games for younger and older participants, sports, pokemon racing, scavenger hunts you name it was there, everything was going so well until many hours later someone noticed the time... it was one PM the next day the moon should have moved one hour ago slowly every city bagan to notic this and the world went quiet, suddenly things got tense, upon further inspection the moon hadnt moved one inch since the festival started. But then the worst shock began.​

    Every single pokemon at every festival suddenly went feral, attacking everyone and everything with hidden power, even pokemon who didnt know the move before hand began to use it, plants erupted from the ground, torents of water began to flow through city streets, places were set ablaze, Rocks rained from the sky. But suddenly it all stopped, the fire quelled, the water dried the rocks stopped and the plants withered and died, and then every pokemon fell to the ground unconcious, the anxious people took their pokemon to the pokemon center and had them put into scanning chambers to assess their condition strangely enough they seemed in perfect condition, when suddenly...​

    The pokemons color began to change and the scanning machines monitors started to glitch and freeze, a strange glow surrounded the pokemon and then stopped as quickly as it started, the pokemon were unharmed and the monitors came back online and were functioning properly, except... every pokemons type had changed either adding on a type or changing the type of the pokemon who had only one type or completely changing one of the types of pokemon who had two, the new coloring on the pokemon seemed to reflect the type change. Upon further inspection it seemed that the pokemons new type matched the type of their hidden power! What could have caused this and why? The trainers, coordinaters and rangers of the world were determined to find out! Little did they know that a power far beyond anything they could possibly imagine had orchestrated the whole event, something beyond the comprehension of both humans and pokemon, a power of unrelenting ferocity and intelegence...and its plan had only just begun.​

    Meanwhile hidden in a submarinal base at the epicenter of the abbysal ruin of undella town a lone man sat upon a black velvet chair in a room made of glistening steel control pannels and machines lined the rooms walls and a massive window was mounted before the, a navy blue darkrai rested by his side, around the room guards, dressed in all black glittering armour with a large C crest upon their cuirass' gaurded the entrances and exits to the room, while scientists worked on the machines. The man was known only as Reaver he wore all black armour like his gaurds only without a crest or helmet his long black hair fell behind his head and over his blood red eyes and hooked nose all you could see were the thin lips of his mouth, which at the moment formed a small smile.
    Suddenly a woman wearing lighter grey armour bearing both helmet and crest rushed into the room and fell to one knee before Reaver. "My Lord Reaver" she said clearly loyalty heavy in her voice. It is just as you predicted the moon has not moved, and the pokemon even ours have changed type." Reaver stood up his smile faded and smacked the woman to the ground with the back of his armoured hand. "Pitiful girl" his voice was cruel. "Do you think I do not know already, look at the god damned sky and my own Darkrai he has been graced by the chaotic power of the eclipse with the power of water". "Please forgive me my Lord," The woman sobbed "I am your humble servant." Reaver raised the womans chin with his hand. "Yes, Yes you are." Reaver removed his hand from the womans chin reseated himself. "Give the order, instruct our finest soldiers to remove as many of the changed pokemon from their pathetic trainers as they can, and I also wish for them to track down the source of the recent occurences" Reavers smile returned. "Soon Team Chaos will rule this pathetic world.

    You: You are a trainer, coordinater, pokemon ranger or one of team chaos' elite soldiers. All classes are have the same main goal, to discover the cause of the strange occurences of the eclipse festival. However all classes have other goals aswell.

    As the pokemons type has changed to reflect their hidden power, and hidden powers type is chosen randomly you may have any pokemon with any type, however there are some rules to this.

    Pokemon Type Rules:
    1: If a pokemon has only one type than you can change its type to the hidden power type or add on the hidden power type to make the pokemon a 2 type pokemon.

    History: (At least a 2 lines long, just something brief will do aslong as its quality material) Joshua was a happy child, Loving Parents and family, a good life, quite wealthy, he dreamed of being top coordinater from an early age. Most of the other boys his age would call him names because of this dream, he didnt care, he would watch the contests on tv with awe and become awe-inspired from the beautiful and powerful performances he saw. And so when he became ten and all the boys his age became trainers he became a coordinater, since then josh has competed in 18 contests and participated in the grande festival once, coming third in said festival. He has headed home for the eclipse festival and plans to take part at the pokemon contest that will take place there.

    Josh is very kind and bubbly and hates it when hes treated like a child he tries to help people when he can, and is very trusting, some might say gullible, hes very sensitive and takes words to heart especially when they're harsh ones. He believes firmly that anyone can change if they've done something wrong. He also believes that anyone can show their true strength in any way they desire, battles, contests, helping people, if its what you love to do than do it.

    History:Was once from an island near Kanto and has all the Kanto gym badges. He left all his pokemon with proffessor Oak and started a new journey in Sinnoh. He only just beat the first four gyms and one time he drew with Roark but he still got the badge. When the new powers came he was glad that his pokemon could now be so strong!
    Personality:Quite jolly but can sometimes be serious. He concentrates alot in battles and is very cautious but usually goes full on into the action. He loves to train his pokemon and is also a bit of a trouble maker but the pokemon still like it!

    History: Miharu only had her mother when she was growing up, her father had left them for some unknown reason. She had started her journey when she was ten, but after her sixth gym badge, she stopped collecting badges, although she still continued on her journey. She was eleven when she stopped collecting gym badges; the same time that her mother died. Many of the gym leaders that battled her before thought it was a waste; she had managed to beat them with only two pokemon and she battled fiercely too.

    Personality: Miharu is fairly sarcastic and snarky, but she does have a great sense of humor. However, her sarcasm sounds very serious, so to many people, aside from those with a wonderful BS sensor, it sounds like she is speaking her honest opinion. She doesn't like to allow her emotions to show themselves to other people, making her fairly anti-social and such. However, sometimes her personality will do a 180; she will still be fairly sarcastic and snarky, but she would not care about showing a smile. She is very cautious, almost to the level of paranoia. She loves her pokemon dearly though and would never abadon a friend, or a pokemon. She enjoys life the most while around pokemon, or in a battle.

    Name: Steven stone Jr.

    Region: From Hoenn But resides in Sinnoh
    City: From Slateport but resides in Sunnyshore

    History:
    Steven Stone Jr. was obviously names after his father, the originall Steven Stone (from RSE). This was because he looked almost exactly like his father, the well known pokémon trainer. Everyone expected him to follow in his father's footsteps but that wasn't really the case. Because his dad was almost always away, He hardly knew his father. Instead, he grew up with his mother in Slateport City much to his father's dismay. His friends always made fun about how he though of pokémon as equalls. He ignored them. He was always fascinated by the boats and submarines he had grown up around, but even more so in the pokémon he grew up around, especially electric type pokémon. And so his whole life he had been torn. Pokémon-Boats, Electric-Water etc. Eventually, he sided, but one questioned remained: what to be? Should he be a severe trainer like his father, an astounding co-ordinater like his mother, of a pokémon ranger. No one in his family was one, but the idea intrigued him. Helping pokémon and people and not even taking pokémon involuntarily. For his 12th birthday, His father came home with a gift. it contained an Elekid, an Azurill, and a Beldum. The last one was a joke, but Steven already knew which he wanted. Elekid was his, but he always wondered if it had been the best choice for him. He departed for the Sinnoh region to meet and help the exotic pokémon there. He went to the only place that fit all his needs. It had electricity, water, and a fair climate. Best of all, it reminded him of home.For the first time since departing Hoenn, he was able to relax.
    Personality:
    Steven Stone Jr. is a friend to all. He helps people whenever they need it. He also helps pokémon. When he was only five he saved a poor poochyena from a crazy Makuhita. And two years later he helped a poor slugma escape the rising tide. Whatever the matter, Steve believes that pokémon should be treated equally to humans. Unfortunately, his peers disagree. Steven cannot stand the sight of a pokémon in pain, and will help pokémon weather they wanted it or not. Unlike peers, he thinks lowly of pokémon battles, unless they are for a necessary cause. He thinks pokémon battles are a cruel, harsh and painful thing to do to pokémon, and that pokémon should not suffer for this unless it is their own idea. He is very sensitive, and will take even mild criticism with a broken heart, especially if the comment comes from a friend. When it comes to witty, though, he has the best things to say. He is an overall really nice guy.

    Mmmmh. Ah, when are we going to start this RP? How many people must join (or not join until this closes)? It's been like a week since I've submitted my entry and if we're not starting for a while I might as well know what to expect. Maybe join another RP in the meantime or drop this thread; it may just become too inconvnient for me. Just to know, thanks! ;)
     
    I was planning to start when we had six members, but since thats probably not going to happen I would reccomend finding something different
     
    I have like 4 projects due in...4 days and I only have one done, so I'll be dead for awhile, so it doesn't matter to me if we don't start RIGHT away. In fact, I will kind of welcome it. I've already joined quite a few bit of RPs too, so I won't be bored waiting, but I'll be keeping an eye out for the start of this RP. ^^

    History: Jimmy was quite a young boy when his parents planned to take him to watch a Pokemon battling tournament. He was quite happy about it, but it turned out that they could only afford to watch a Contest, instead. He wasn't too happy. But as the Pokemon made their appeals, he just couldn't get enough of it. After he got home, he decided to persue that dream. Over the years he's practiced, he's learned much about how to do so, and is now on his way to his second ribbon.


    Personality: Jimmy is a kindhearted boy, but never takes lightly to people who insult him. If that happens, he goes straight to the defensive and does what he can to make the person take back the statement. Contrarily, he doesn't talk much unless provoked. He still finds time to care for his friends and pokemon, though.
